Vesak

Vesak is very important for the Buddhists.One thise day,the Buddhist commemorate the birth,the enlightenment and the death of Lord Buddha. On Vesak day falls on a Full on a Full Moon day. For vesak people build Vesak Lanterns and pandals.Temple get filled with devotees.They come to offer flowers,observe sill and listen to the sermons.This fastival helps people live without sin. Another interesting feature is the lightning of oil lamps. The fragrance of flowers and the lighted sandal wood fills the air during the Vesak festival. On this day many people organis"Dansalas" The young and the old alike visit these Danasalas. Vesak produces a sense of holiness among Buddhist.
