K-POP


 

K-POP is the one of the newest and most popular genres in the world .Although this K- POP style of singing which  is the rapidly gaining popularity around the world  to day seems to be one of the singing styles .Music genres such as Raggae,Jazz,Pop can be called  a style  inspired by it. 

Originating  in South korea ,this K-PO style of singing is now rapidly gaining popularity around the world as one of the most fascinating art.

This K-POP  style of singing ,which is dominated by singing  as well as dancing ,has been evolving over  three generations .The early 90s marked the beginning of K-POP 1922. "Seo-tai-ji and boys " wer the first K-POP band. Affair ,

Then 2000 years latter ,the second generation of K-POP music began.During this period .Korean music band were nike named"The Hallyu Wave ".It was  also during this generation .That woman's K-POP  groups began to emerge .This second generation started female pop siging groups such as, Wonder girls 
                 Girls Generation ,meanwhile ,male k-pop groups such as, Big bang
                                         Super junior, were formed during this period .

    The  songs of this second generation K-POP were also included  in the Japanese charts and the   spread of Korean music to East Asian ccountries was a significant event . In addition to the Korean language,desire to sing in Japanese is an important event  in this second generation .Since 2008,thesek-pop groups have been able to increase  their fan base by pperfoming at concerts in other  Asian  countries.
                                
 The  third generation of korean pop music  begins around 2011. This third  generation can be described as a turning point in Korean music . 

The popularity of the "Open Gangnam Style" song sung by "PSY" worldwide in 2013 was the the basis of the third generation .Korean music became popular around the world. After the Gangnam Style song wich gagarnered a large number of you tube views .



Today , male k-pop groups such as, Winner, Got7,TxT, EXO,Astro, and world famous BTS, as well as female k-pop groups such as Black Pink , Twice ,Girl friend and Redvelvet are currently attracting fans around  the world  including in South Korea .

               

                                           
                                         

                    
         

                                 

                 
                                                             
                                                                 
                           
   









The emergency of k-pop singers was the result of a long period of training.K-POP singers  need to balance their singing as well as dancing .The training  and experience gained over a period of time based on the skills  identified from an early age also contcontributes to the popularity  as a k-pop star.

 Thes k-pop groups can now be described as an industry  that makes  a huge  contribution to South Korea's GDP.
